A Case of Cavernous Lymphangioma of the Nasopharynx

Abstract

|
The lymphangioma of the nasopharynx is one of the very rare benign tumors listed in the english literatures in the world.
Patient was 20 year-old male who had suffered from nasal stuffiness for nine years. Bluish mass was observed in the nasopharynx with nasal endoscope. Carotid angiography revealed hypovascular mass without feeding vessels. We removed the tumor
through
palate without any complications. Pathologic examination revealed that cavernous lymphangioma. We reported a case of nasopharyngeal cavernous lymphangioma with review of literature.
